  • Treat animals with respect. Keep an eye out for wild animals, like jellyfish, crabs, and sharks. Stings and bites can be painful and result in infections and other serious complications. Also, watch out for unattended or poorly behaved dogs.
  • Remember, nature is in charge. Check the weather before you leave for the beach and watch for warning signs for unexpected storms or wind. Be careful when you’re in the ocean and prepare your family for the possibility of rip currents.
