I put off writing this letter to you and I want to apologize for my delay. I am almost at a loss of words. This still seems all surreal to me. I wake up sometimes and forget that my mother is gone, I go to call her just to suddenly remember that she is no longer here due to a tragic event. When I started this pursuit of justice for my mother, I was hesitant, lost and unsure of what to expect. You put all that to rest. I want to thank you for all your hard work and dedication to this case and to me and my family. You were beyond patient and understanding of the circumstances and went out of your way to make sure that I understood exactly what was going on each step of the way. I could not be more grateful.
